I don't really have much to say .. It's been a crazy week with dance, work and rehearsals BUT I'm still alive .. Just barely :)

Where Have You Been - Rihanna

Ok, so I really, REALLY fail at this post-a-day thing (evidently) but I've been super busy with work and dance. Eurovision went really well, our dance was just ... No comment but Nic and I stayed on afterwards and we really enjoyed ourselves. It was nice catching up with the singers and the other dancers (refer to photo above)! At least once a year we get to have a nice chat. Having said that, I couldn't be happier for Kurt! It was great seeing him so happy.

Anyways, I can officially say that we are in full swing with rehearsals for Dance Project's annual school show. This year it's called 'Monochrome' and, as the title suggests, we're all black and white. This may sound ridiculously boring (and yes, the visuals aren't exactly fireworks) but the dancing makes up for it .. Or so I'm hoping. Also, next on the agenda, are Croatia in May for the Dance Championships of 2012 as well as Mediterraneo Dance Festival in July! I'm sooooooooo excited! Plus, to top all of it off, AMERICA at the end of July!!!!!!!

Right, time to call it a night. I will TRY and remember to post tomorrow!

Heartbeat - The Fray

Two days ago, the Costa Concordia hit a rock and started sinking. I can't believe my family and I were on that cruise liner a while ago. I'm still in shock! The ship was beautiful and I can't imagine what it'd have been like to be on it when they hit the rock.

On a more positive note, weekend was great, judging the kids auditions was probably the highlight of it all. They're such hard workers, it's great! We decided on 6 girls out of 15 and the 6 we chose are absolutely FANTASTIC. Panto cast party was quite fun, relaxed but lots of laughs which was great. The work staff party was pretty successful too - Enjoyed it more than I thought I would!

I don't have much else to say .. Work tomorrow at 9am which I am NOT looking forward to but oh well ....

Plane - Jason Mraz

I've decided to name my posts after songs that have either:

1. Inspired me throughout the day,

2. Seemed appropriate for the kind of day I've had,

3. Are emotionally relatable,

4. I've heard/danced to.

Today's song title is a song I danced to in lyrical today. Felt really nice to just let go and dance everything away even though it wasn't a very stressful day, it was still busy and a lot had to be done.

The feeling I get when dancing to 'Plane' by 'Jason Mraz' is indescribable. I'm LOVING it. It's going to be a show-stopper for sure! I've also found out that there's the show 'Animae, the gospel choir 2012' on the same weekend as our dance show which, I must admit, I'm a bit upset about. Was really hoping nothing would clash so once we started advertizing, it'd be easier to drag people to our show!!!

What have I gotten myself into?

Right, so I brought this thing back to life because Hillary wanted me to follow her. I now feel obliged to update it every so often .. Let's see how long it lasts for this time!
